My yoga journey began in 2012, evolving into a deep study and practice. Certified as an RYT 200 and registered with Yoga Alliance since 2014, with continued education. I specialize in Hatha yoga, focusing on Yin, Restorative, Surya & Chandra Namaskâr, delving into Charkas, Sound and Ayurveda. My yoga is gentle and nurturing. I utilize props—blankets, blocks, and bolsters—to enhance and support the benefits of each pose for your body's well-being.
Opening a yoga studio in Cayucos has been a long-held dream of mine. There was need in the community for a safe and loving space, where all are welcome and kindness matters.
I've dedicated over a decade to guiding myself and others through yoga. This journey has taught me the importance of honoring the rhythm of the universe that guides us all together.
“My love for our town & community infuses this sacred space. The vision is for all who step into Cayucos Yoga will find the same sense of belonging, love and community.”

Hello!
I am a 200hr RYT and have been guiding classes for a few years now. I first found my way to yoga on a whim after suffering some medical issues due to high cortisol, stress, and anxiety. Being a fairly active person, I wanted to give it a try after hearing good things, not knowing at the time how life changing it would become! The breathing techniques, meditation and physical practice of yoga gave me an outlet to cope and feel strong again in both my mind and body. From there I realized my love for teaching and wanted to share the gift of yoga with others.
I have been on maternity leave with my sweet daughter but am excited to get back on the mat and rejoin my beloved yogis in practice. My teaching style is vinyasa flow with elements of deep stretching, breath work, and meditation.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Hi, I’m Nina!
My personal journey through yoga evolved from a physical pursuit into a spiritualway of life. What began as a desire for physical benefits blossomed into a deep gratitude for the effects yoga offers the mind & the soul. My teaching is rooted in a gratefulness for movement, breath & deep body awareness, supporting the belief that every yoga shape is beautiful in every body.
Outside of the studio, my life as a civil engineer provides balance, and yoga serves as acreative outlet that nurtures a completely different side of my brain.
When I’m not on my mat, you can find me outdoors, running, surfing, hiking, you name it. Having worked in various community roles over the years, I am so excited to connect with the incredible people of the Central Coast through the shared journey of breath, sound and movement.

I’m a yoga and movement teacher devoted to helping people feel at ease in their bodies and radiant in their lives. With over 20 years of experience in dance, meditation, and breathwork beginning with my 200-hour training at YogaWorks. I’ve learned that balance comes from both strength and effortlessness.
Skandha Yoga is a layered practice focused on the elements of yoga. Each class builds gradually, weaving alignment, breath, and mindful flow to help you feel grounded, clear, and energized. It’s accessible for beginners and supportive for experienced practitioners.
My mission is simple: to help you move with ease, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the vibrant, steady light within. I teach two different formats, one is more relaxing (yin) than the other (yang), both are fun and accessible to all.

I completed my YTT 200hr in Bali in 2019. Before that, I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Trinity Law School. I do have a passion for lifelong learning with an emphasis on learning in order to share.
I have an adult daughter who also lives in Cayucos. I’m continually inspired by the beauty of nature, the strength of community, and the joy of making meaningful connections.
I look forward to connecting with you and growing together through the practice of yoga.

Silvia is an Expressive Arts therapist that uses art, writing and movement to facilitate people diving deep into their own selves. Her background in this field, plus her life long experience with dance and the practice of Tai Chi, has given her tremendous body awareness and an embodied experience of the mind–body unity, which she helps facilitate in her yoga and movement classes. In 2015 she formally became a Yoga Teacher after completing her 200h Yoga Teacher Training in Mount Madonna Center. One of the many wonderful gifts she received during her training was the deep connection to meditation and pranayama -conscious breathing-, which she gently webs during these classes.
She is a Reiki Master, a Pre-post Natal Yoga teacher, has had training in Yoga Trauma informed. Has taught veterans and works with the Prison Yoga Project. Her passion is to facilitate movement classes where people breathe with deep awareness, stretch their bodies and leave the class feeling renewed in mind and body.
In her meditation class series, she guides participants through different styles of meditation and helps them to build the foundation to develop a regular personal practice.
In the Central Coast community she has taught classes in the Holistic Movement Center and the Green Lotus in Morro Bay, in the White Heron Sangha in Avila Beach, Slo Yoga Center, numerous private classes, in the County Jail through Restorative Partners, in the California Men’s Colony. She has also taught internationally in Switzerland, Costa Rica, Morocco and Colombia.

I found yoga during the pandemic as a way to workout from home. As yoga studios opened up, I wanted to experience the community setting that yoga studios create. I noticed in every class whether it was gentle, or vinyasa that there was more to yoga than just exercise. Yoga brought more unity between my body, breath, and mind. I also noticed that yoga brought more peace to my mind, and after every class I felt like I was able to begin again. Throughout my journey trying different yoga classes I found myself gravitating a lot to Aerial Yoga. I was able to use the silks as props to either deepen a pose or make a pose more accessible. I also found that the silks helped be build strength in my upper body. Being that I am hyper mobile in my arms, I found building strength hard or simply not fun. However, with Aerial yoga I was able to build more strength in a way that excited me. As a way to dig deeper into my yoga practice, I decided to do an Aerial Yoga and Yoga Teacher Training in 2023. I completed my Aerial Yoga Certification in summer 2023. In January 2024, I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at The Center Studio in San Luis Obispo.
My teaching style is typically a Vinyasa Flow with connections to the five elements, or to our subtle bodies. At the end of the day, I strives for everyone to be welcomed, to be free, and to have fun!

I was originally drawn to the more physical aspects of yoga but I found myself looking for something deeper from my yoga practice, which inspired me to become a 200 hour RYT in January of 2024. I have long felt my purpose in life is fulfilled by serving and teaching others. As a teacher, I hope to share with my students that yoga is more than a physical practice, and create a space that honors balance, individuality, and growth on and off the mat. In my classes, you will find an integration of mindfulness and philosophy with flow. I am so excited to be a part of this beautiful community and to flow with all of you!
